Transparency Badge Council

Transparency needs to be table stakes. The Transparency badge simplifies sharing.

“Transparency enables trading partners to better navigate risks and proactively mitigate.”

Purpose

The Transparency Badge is the industry standard for sharing risk assessment and mapping information with provider customers.  Transparency elevates partnership and enables proactive communication.  When included in the sourcing decision, it drives industry commitment to transparency.  This council aims to make transparency table stakes.

Healthcare is historically less transparent than other industries.  Low transparency can impede trust and proactive solutions.  This Council aims to make the Transparency Badge table stakes in sourcing decisions.  As needed, the scope and role of the badge may evolve to address changing market needs.
